With the increasing need of conventional energy and the developing environmental concern, distributed generation has become an important measure to promote energy conservation globally. This paper mainly studies how to access distributed generation to the distribution network plan study of Ningxia district.This paper mainly focuses on the following aspects:(1) Organize and explore common load forecasting methods in power system.(2) Analyze characteristic indices of distributed generator, select annual maximum load and typical day, study how to compute load curve and load structure, and explore distributed power characteristics.(3) Summarize typical structure of Ningxia district, study the development of Ningxia district power distribution network and division of power supply area, research the target structure of Ningxia different districts, and explore power distribution structures under high-pressure and low-pressure.(4) Based on load forecasting, discuss the influence of distributed power supply accessing to Ningxia power distribution network, and study the circumstances of Ningxia four types’power supply areas.(5) Make further suggestions for distribution power system planning of Ningxia district.
