As a renewable energy generation technology, wind turbine generator system (WTGS) has the advantages of non-pollution and large-scale development. With the wind farm operation and management level requirements increasing, the performance evaluation of wind turbine has become one of key issues in the urgent research areas. In the background of the wind power generation, this paper researches on the performance evaluation of wind turbine based on operational data. The research content is as follows:1、The operation characteristics of control system and monitoring quantities are mastered based on in-depth understanding of the operating principle and basic structure of a grid-connected WTGS. In addition, the common failure modes, fault mechanism of generator, gearbox, cabin, control cabinet are also analyzed.2、Because the integrated fuzzy theory and evidence theory evaluation does not need to rely on the much more test data, the method may be a suitable method to assess the operating condition of WTGS by Only use of on-line monitoring information. Firstly, an operational conditions evaluation indices system of WTGS is proposed, and a degree of inferiority indicator is adapted to quantize the evaluation indices by Bin method which gets the fitting function and dynamic limiting values. Secondly, WTGS evaluation model is established by the method of integrated fuzzy theory and evidence theory. Finally, the model is tested by using the actual monitoring data.3、Considering the variable speed constant frequency operation characteristic of the WTGS, evaluation indices is quantized. In addition, the extended relation functions are adapted in the matter-element analysis theory, and the matter-element model of operating conditions assessment for the WTGS were proposed and compared.
