Offshore wind power is a kind of clean energy which has broad prospects, but the high cost has restricted its development. Supporting structure accounts for a large part of offshore wind farm construction cost. So it has great significance in studying offshore wind turbine supporting structure to solve the key technical problems and reduce the cost of offshore wind power. It will promote the development of this kind clean energy. Among several kinds of supporting structure, the jacket supporting structure has a broad scope of application and many other advantages, so this paper chose the jacket supporting structure to study.Firstly, this paper introduced the development status of offshore wind power, some kinds of offshore wind turbine supporting structure and the research status of the jacket supporting structure. Then this paper introduced the environmental loads of offshore wind turbine and its supporting structure and gave the detailed calculation theory and calculation formula. In view of the mechanical characteristics of offshore wind turbine supporting structure, the interaction mechanism of supporting structure and foundation soil was introduced in detail.With the help of finite element software ANS YS, this paper established the offshore wind turbine supporting structure finite element model. And the transition connected section of the jacket and the tower was improved by using of bar connection. The jacket supporting structure section above and below mud surface get unified consideration. Then static analysis, modal analysis and transient dynamic analysis were performed. The analysis results showed that the unified consideration of supporting structure section above and below mud surface had great significance for the analysis of structural stress.Finally, the geometry size of jacket supporting structure was considered as design variables and the stress and strain as the variables, the amount of steel quantity as the objective function. Then optimization model of jacket supporting structure was established. The optimization results showed that the steel consumption was reduced by 20% when the jacket supporting structure was stable, which is of great significance for the construction of offshore wind farm.This paper performed the finite element analysis and optimization design of jacket supporting structure of offshore wind turbine and illustrated the applicability of jacket supporting structure in offshore wind farms in the deeper water. The results of the study provided some references for the reasonable design of offshore wind turbine supporting structure. And it can promote offshore wind power to advance to the deeper water.
