The electric multiple unit(EMU) high voltage disconnector is an important device to ensure safety and stability, which plays an important role in the electrical insulation and isolation voltage. Although the power frequency voltage is only 25kV, the roof space is small, the equipment is numerous, the insulator structure height is limited, and the high electric field intensity is still appeared in the high-voltage end.Corona discharge can be produced if the electric field intensity is exceeds the corona inception electric field, which will affect the electromagnetic environment and insulation material, the reliability of the operation is reduced. Therefore, By studying. the electric field distribution and the influence factors of the high voltage disconnector, which can provide theoretical basis for the optimization of electric field.In this paper,The calculation model of the three-dimensional electric field simulation model including the pillar insulator, the high voltage disconnector and the dome is established based on the differential equation of static field and quasi static field in electromagnetic field theory under AC/DC effect and finite element theory. The electric field distribution of the high pressure system and the optimized layout of the high disconnector are studied. The three-dimensional electric field simulation model of high voltage disconnector based on the actual size of clean, The electric field distribution of insulator surface and space are discussed, and the affect of switch, guide rod, dome effect on electric field distribution are also studied. According to the insulator surface pollution law of high speed EMU,The influence of drying and wetting on the electric field distribution of insulator is analyzed. Through the three-dimensional electric field simulation model of the high voltage disconnector with grading ring, this paper analysis electric field distribution after optimization and the influence of different parameters grading ring on electric field distribution, and the electric field distribution characteristics of the electric field are optimized. At the same time,the corona discharge is tested by ultraviolet imaging instrument,which plays an important directive role in reducing maximum electric field of high voltage disconnector with grading ring.
