As the global energy problems become more prominent, wind power can ease the global energy shortage and other issues. However, due to the randomness of wind power generation, the wind power grid will have a impact on the power grid, once beyond the scope of the grid, it will seriously undermine the security and stability of the grid. Rapid development of energy storage technology broke the traditional balance, for wind farms equipped with a certain capacity of energy storage system can stabilize wind power fluctuation, the output power to meet certain indicators.This paper mainly studies the following contents:(1) Firstly, summarizes the classification and characteristics of current energy storage technology, The model of energy storage and energy storage is constructed, and the method of estimating the lifetime of the energy storage device and its capacity is analyzed; The configuration schemes of two kinds of wind farm energy storage system are analyzed, and their characteristics are summarized and compared.(2) For the randomness and volatility of wind power, reduce the adverse effects on the wind farm grid connected power system, at the same time, reduce the storage capacity and cost, puts forward a control strategy based on dynamic coefficient of fluctuation of wind power fluctuation smoothing. Definitions reflect storage can stabilize the system of wind power fluctuation effect of fluctuation coefficient, established the fluctuation coefficient as the optimization variables, with wind power actual power and grid connected power the minimum value as the goal, to fluctuation of grid connected power requirements for constrained optimization model. Then we design a solution of genetic algorithm based on sliding window, optimize the dynamic coefficient of fluctuation and stabilize the target power is obtained.(3) A hybrid energy storage system based on a battery and a super capacitor is established. A hybrid energy storage power allocation strategy is proposed, which is based on the optimization of the working state of the battery, and the maximum system profit. Based on the power allocation strategy, the overall economic performance of the system is analyzed, and the optimal allocation model is established, which is based on the maximum net income. The power and capacity of the storage device and the state of the load are optimized.
