With the continuous development of social economy, the city power supply load increases rapidly, and people have higher requirements on the reliability of power supply. When a power distribution network is to load or line maintenance, it is usually related to the closing loop operation. Closed loop operation is the biggest advantage of can reduce the user’s power, improve the reliability of power supply. However, due to the characteristics of the distribution network, the "non observable" and "non measurable", and the influence factors of the power supply are more and more, the power grid in the power network may have a larger steady current and impulse current, which will directly affect the safe and stable operation of the power network. According to the above characteristics, this paper presents a simplified model of distribution network operation. The calculation of the steady-state current and impulse current of the closed loop is derived in detail. At the same time, a detailed analysis of the trend of the combination ring is carried out. The factor that affects the current of the ring is the voltage difference of the ring. By adjusting the capacitor compensation and transformer tap position to change the ring point voltage to reduce the current, so that the ring current is not limited. Using a software to simulate the system, the simulation of the system can be used to guide the operation of the loop before the operation of the system, which has a very strong research significance and practical value. After a comprehensive study of the operation of the closed loop operation, this paper carries on the simulation and analysis of the simulation and calculation of the part of the line in Zhangjiakou.
