In recent years, wind power generation technology has become the first choice of energy demand for low-carbon society. The structural health monitoring technology for wind turbine blade has also been rapidly developed. Structural Health Monitoring(SHM) technology based on the Lamb waves technology and acoustic emission technology is a hot spot in current research, and the active and passive monitoring technology for wind turbine blade have their own advantages in each of the different stages of impact or injuries. Article puts forward a structural health monitoring technology based on the active and passive method fusion. Combine the damage location and imaging information of the active and passive method, put the active and passive monitoring process together to improve the accuracy of damage location and enrich the level of damage information.The paper discusses the SHM technology research progress of the wind turbine blade at home and abroad. The research direction and purposes are given. Analysis of the piezoelectric sensor applied to motivation and sensing principle is also given. The paper analyzes the propagation and modal characteristics of the Lamb wave in the structure characteristics, then analyzes the traditional principle of active and passive method.The article studies the principle and meaning of the active and passive method integration. The fusion of three levels is put forward. Aiming at the three levels, the needed basis technology is studyed. Sensor array configuration scheme is studied. The passive damage location and imaging scheme based on the revised wave velocity and distance weighting. Put forward the concept of damage positioning matrix. Active monitoring technology relied on no wave velocity is studied and the mathematical expression of damage positioning matrix is given. Experiments show that the sensor array and the new method can effectively conduct damage location and imaging and support the active and passive method integration at all levels.The article studies the three levels of active and passive integration technology. In positioning data level, fuse the damage location imaging matrix and get new location information. In imaging strategy level, put forward the imaging scheme that passive method focuses on positioning and active method focuses on the scope and development of the damage. Use the location information of passive method to modify imaging result of active method. Study the active and passive method integration synergy mechanism. Give the working principle of the active and passive collaborative system and diagnosis process for damage information in the whole process of impact injury occurring and expanding. Experiments show that the active and passive integration method can effectively fuse the damage information in positioning data level and imaging strategy level. Compared with the single method, the level and connotation of damage diagnosis has significant improvement.
