The Application Of Yin Yang And Five Elements Theory In Green Space Landscape Of Residential Area

The theory of Yin-Yang and five elements is a philosophic thought to explain the existence and change of everything in the world. Combining the theory of Yin Yang and five elements and residential landscape design, we can not only inherit the traditional culture, but also play a role in human health care. In this paper, residential landscape of Aijianyuan, Lujiazui and Wanlicheng were taken as the investigation object, the theory of traditional Fengshui, Plant Fengshui and residential green landscape were taken as the theoretical basis in the research, we systematic studied the design concept of residential area, the overall layout of residential area,the situation of application, application effect and problems in application of the theory of Yin-Yang and five elements through adopting the methods of literature review, field observation and questionnaire survey. Landscape elements design as the core, this paper put forward the application method of the theory of Yin-Yang and five elements about landscape planning and design in the residential area. Finally, the reconstruction design of central landscape area of the Zhongjian Kangcheng based on the theory of Yin-Yang and five elements. Based on the application of the theory of Yin Yang and five elements in the green residential area landscape, the paper took residential with its own characteristics and the theory of Yin-Yang and five elements into two core landscape design to create the residential area landscape that set environmental health, culture health, sports health as one. Study on the application of Yin-Yang and five elements culture in the residential area of green space landscape could provide a theoretical reference to enhance the quality of residential environment in the future and had certain guiding significance to the innovation and development of the landscape design.This paper, respecting the combination of traditional culture and modern philosophy, will uphold the principle of scientificalness, feasibility and creative to highlight the following study:(1) The application of theoretical research on the theory of Yin-Yang and five elements in landscape planning and design in residential area. Focused on the theory of traditional Fengshui, Plant Fengshui and green residential area landscape, the paper studied the characteristics of theory of Yin-Yang, five elements theory and elaborated the application of dynamic of traditional geomancy in garden landscape. Taking plants and human health as focus, the paper, that researched from the plant field, plant phytoneider, plant Yin-Yang, plant Wuxinge, studied the characteristics and role of Plant Fengshui culture in landscape. Taking ecological, cultural and health as the center point, the paper introduces the function and planning principle of green residential landscape and analysis of the impact of residential landscape on human health.(2) Study on application methods system of the theory of Yin Yang and five elements in the green residential area landscape. The paper focuses on the analysis of application of theory of Yin Yang and five elements of landscape elements though investigating landscape of Aijianyuan, Lujiazui and Wanlicheng, and qualitative evaluates the application effect according quantitative analysis. According to the survey results, starting from the planning basis, design goals and principles, taking Fengshui, balance of Yin-Yang, five grams of health and ecology as the theoretical basis, the paper research methods and main points of design of layout, roads, planting, Waterscape, buildings and architectural sketches of residential green landscape, which guide the landscape design practice directly.(3) the practice application of the theory of Yin-Yang and five elements in the core area of green residential landscape. Based on investigation and analysis of the status quo of Zhongjian Kangcheng in Wuhan, the paper, using the theory of Yin-Yang and five elements, taking the landscape elements into the theory of Yin-Yang and five elements of the design points for the combination of points, studied the landscape planning and design of space layout, terrain design, entrance landscape and Central greens pace. Central greens pace, adhering to the concept of "harmony", that from the aspects of road planning, waterscape planning, plant landscape design, landscape architecture and sketch design, builds landscape care ways both dynamic with static, to create natural resort space for the residents, and to promote the development of physical and mental health.
