Applied Research Of The Culture Of Old Industrial Base In The Design Of Stadiums

With the economic development since opening-up and reform and the rapid pace of urban construction, cities now begin to place more emphasize the usage of space. Constant trials are made for the purpose of creating the most suitable city using the limited amount of city space. During the period, new buildings and new roads are under construction thus to result in the increasingly apparent contradictions and problems in urban construction where old industrial bases have been surrounded by the communities and residential neighborhood due to urban development and problems resulting from living environment as well as complaints from citizens about noise, water contamination and air pollution have been more and more severe. In the post-industry age heavy industry economy is declining; factories are on the verge of moving with the sluggish situation so that land for abundant industrial waste came into being bearing inescapable part of the prosperous heavy industry within urban construction, which becomes the main problem to be solved and concern of urban citizens during urban planning.Currently the majority of old industrial bases are constructing new buildings by tearing down old buildings which has completely destroyed the cultural characteristics of the city’s historical times leaving a depressing number of industrial scenes. Confronted with such situation, people are in urgent need of new thought and new perspective to renew, plan and construct and re-construct urban industrial view to tap the potential of city and functional city.The research dissertation is based on the above background which can be divided into three sections. Based on the problems put forward and analysis as well as research findings, the history, development and analysis are all undertaken in terms of the culture of northeastern heavy industry bases thus brought forth the unstressed attitude towards the times spirit of northeastern city construction. Combining the requirements of policy aiming at forcefully expanding the cause of developing sports and collections of the existing stadiums in the northeast so as to inherit the thought of history of northeastern cities. Consequently after analyzing the characteristics of northeastern stadium design and providing the evidence and foundation for solving following problems. Finally, the dissertation undertakes an analysis of the actual status quo of Harbin industrial bases according to the procedures of study of the project for constructing stadiums in order to fulfill the process of instructing practice with theory.Conclusively, the paper takes an outlook over the application of the concept of old industrial bases and concept of ecological design of industrial culture into the stadiums expecting to achieve the target of protecting the city culture and urban industrial civilization as well as provide reference for the northeastern industrial bases’ landscape planning and design and landmark architecture design with old northeastern industrial bases cultural characteristics.
