With the continuous progress and development of the society, people require more for thequality of landscape,which promotes the development of the landscape public art. Modern Ceramic Art is the emotion communication medium for human and landscape.The intervention of Modern Ceramic Art in environmental landscapedesign is of great significance,with its rich language of art and special forms.The rapid development of landscape design pushes Modern Ceramic Art into a new domainand provides a wide stage for its development in the area of landscape design.Theprevious exploration of ceramic art is mostly confined to the research of its traditional functionsand modeling,neglecting its correspondence with the landscape design,so exploring the art characteristics and its application of the modern ceramic art from the point ofenvironment landscape design can make up for the deficiency of its theoretical system,andaccord with the requirements of today’s arts development.The first chapter of this thesis introduced the background of theThe first chapter of this thesis introduced the background of the topic,contents,methods,purpose and significance. The fifth chapter studied solutions of the scale of ceramic art.The sixth chapte show the project that author participated.The last part summarized the research values of this topic, as well as the role on innovating environmental landscape design and looked into the application prospects of the ceramic art in the environmental landscape design.
