The research object is based on the typical soil of Harbin region. The conventional geotechnical test was carried out to determine the basic physical indexes of soil. It has found that the initial moisture content and initial dry density, the freezing temperature, the melt temperature and the freeze-thaw cycles on the influence of frozen soil frost heave and melt, also did the single factor test and orthogonal test. It has established three prediction models about the rate of frost heave, the thawing settlement coefficient and the melt compressibility. This study provides a reference for future engineering application. The main content of this study is divided into the following several aspects:First, the study figures out the mechanism and the influencing factors of frozen soil frost heave and melt, provides a theoretical guarantee for subsequent experimental. According to the coefficient of determination method and the basic parameters of soil sample, this paper determines the test plan and boundary conditions.Second, three experimental parameters are determined in this paper by using test test apparatus. Through single factor and orthogonal test, it obtains the influence of different factors. Using the Origin data analysis software to analyze the regularity of the change of characteristic value, and establish three regression equations. Finally, this paper uses the multiple linear regression fitting models in the SPSS software, which establish the rate of frost heave, the thawing settlement coefficient and the melt compressibility. It has determined the model calculation value through error analysis, and the rationality of the forecasting model has been verified.
