Research On Functional Design Strategy Of University Gymnasium In Shanghai

After reform and opening to the outside world, our country become paying more attention to university physical education. University gymnasium become more and more important to the university, for it is the place where university physical can be held.The functional design of university gymnasium is to select and combine the functions in it.How reasonable it is will have a direct effect on the performance, which is an important part in the process of designing the gymnasium. The function design strategy is to choose different functional design methods under different conditions.The universities of Shanghai had built more than 40 gymnasiums since reform and opening to the outside world. The construction of university gymnasium in Shanghai began in the early twentieth century. The types of functional design and influencing factors of functional design are generalized by inspecting the university gymnasiums in Shanghai, and suitable functional design strategies in Shanghai are discussed. Plenty of university gymnasiums are built in shanghai these years, so the research on functional design strategy has an obviously significance in practice. This article hopes to provide a basic theory of the building of Shanghai university gymnasiums.This article is composed of six chapters.Chapter 1 is introduction, which describes the the origin of this study, the research concept definition, the domestic and foreign research present situation, the research significance and purpose, research methods and the research framework of this project.Chapter 2 is talking about the development situation of university gymnasiums in Shanghai, which contains 3 parts: the first part talk about Shanghai’s location, economic, and college education and sports development; second part talk about the change of university gymnasiums in Shanghai;the third part talk about the existing problem of the university gymnasiums in Shanghai.Chapter 3 is talking about the analysis of influent factors of function design of Shanghai university gymnasium, including the weather and architectural features of Shanghai, construction and operation cost of gymnasium, the polices and regulations and design mothed of gumnasium.Chapter is talking about the present research analysis of the functional design of the university gymnasium in Shanghai. It investigates the 27 gymnasiums to put up the composition of overall layout, the main function of the university gymnasium is sport and research.the gymnasiums are classificated to match gymnasium,train gymnasium,mix gymnasium by their different sport rooms. The gymnasiums are also classificated to centralized or distributed toward the relationship along every gymnasium.Chapter 5 is talking about the functional design strategy of university gymnasium in Shanghai.three different strategy(downtown-distributed strategy, suburbs-distributed strategy, centralized strategy) are made through different relationship and use of the gymnasiums.Downtown-distributed gymnasium should choose competition & training type and make sure of the use of the urban residents’ needs. Suburbs-distributed gymnasium should choose competition & training type or training type and make sure of the use of the students and teachers`s most need. Centralized gymnasium should choose competition type or training type, and centralized gymnasiums in one area should emphasize the common use of sports resources.Chapter 6 is the conclusion of the article.This chapter conclude the main function of university gymnasium in the city of Shanghai,and different strategy used in different gymnasium.
