The Study On Design For The Intelligent Baby Bathtub

China has ushered in a large-scale baby boom with 80’s and 90’s entering the fertility stage. This year, the state has released two children policy, will drive the young parents’ demand for maternal and child supplies to further expand in the next few years. In recent years, China’s economy has a new round of consumer upgrades after the rapid economic growth. Consumers’ demand to products update. Consumers only require the quality of the product and good functions in the past, but now the consumers are more concerned about the experience and feelings of using. For example, the young parents are interested in multi-function and welcomed baby bathes now.Based on the current social and economic background, this paper selects baby bathtub design research as a research topic, analyse infants(0 to 3 years old) and mother’s psychological and physiological, in order to find the design principle to satisfy mothers and babies’ demand.The paper uses the theoretical analysis and survey research methods to study the subject. In paper, the thesis analyzes the infant’s exploratory behavior, infant action development and maternal parenting behavior, mother-child interaction behavior. Research aspects, the thesis uses observation method, user interviews and questionnaire survey method to analyse typical users, getting the using scene, action steps and other information.After that, the paper will study the intelligent of products, and analyse the significance and methods of the application of technology in improving users’ experience. Finally, the thesis will combine theoretical analysis, research conclusion and intelligent and ergonomics methods to promote the design work, which will be used to examine the research results of the paper, and try to resolve the practical problems.
