Nowadays people are commonly facing with some worldwide problem like the energy shortage and environment pollution. Since 1970 s, twice worldwide energy crisis and the seriousness of the environment problems came into concern all around the world. It’s urgent to put forward new technology for energy saving. The development and utilization of the rich solar energy will produce little pollution to the environment.And inverter technology plays an important role in making full use of solar energy, especially control technology and the topology has crucial effect on power quality.Traditional two-level inverter has larger voltage stress on their own and it will have great harm on electrical components, On the contrary multi-level inverter is appropriate for the high-power inverter, such as the electric power system and the high power AC motor control system, etc. Through circuit structure adjustment, the multi-level inverter could change the number of circuit switch to increase the output voltage level number in order to reduce the output voltage transformation ratio(/) to reduce total harmonic distortion and system electro-magnetic interference(EMI).In addition, The working switches under the lower switch frequency condition can reduce the switch frequency and loss, and through the control technology of low voltage components can improve the output wave quality. For the background The research content of this paper is as followsFirstly make the deep analysis about several widely used multilevel inverter topology and several kinds of multilevel inverter control strategy. Furthermore based on Matlab/Simulink software make the related simulation, and due to the SVPWM technology is difficult to achieve multi-level output, this paper puts forward a new binary type independent power cascade output 31 level step wave topology inverter and analysis the control method using waveform approximation method and the closed loop control technology to realized the linear adjustment function, and make the circuit model for simulation in the Matlab/Simulink.Secondly The use of high frequency components make the system simplify. And design an experimental platform based on DSP controller. Also design main hardware schematic diagrams about binary independent power cascade inverter circuit.At last, this thesis puts forward a kind of inverter control strategy based on particle swarm optimization(PSO) algorithm, By using this method to optimize inverter switch angle on inverter unit. And make the PSO circuit model for simulation in the Matlab/Simulink to verify the advantages of particle swarm optimization algorithm...
