With the rapid development of urbanization and the rapid increase in the level of urban construction, the area of hardened ground, as well as the runoff, in Mudanjiang City kept increasing. The original drainage network can not meet the requirements of urban flood control and drainage during the rainy season. It is easy to form ground water and even waterlogging, which caused great inconvenience to people’s lives. Aimed at the overall planning objectives of Mudanjiang City, this study analyzed the capabilities and issues of drainage system, geographical terrain conditions, systematacially assessed the risk of urban waterlogging, designed municipal sewer system pand urban waterlogging provention system.This thesis systematically analyzed the urban geography terrain profiles, natural conditions and hydrogeological conditions of Mudanjiang city. Considering the urban development strategy and the existing drainage waterlogging plan, the problems and causes of the existing drainage waterlogging system were analyzed. For rain planning, precipitation patterns and underlying surface were analyzed. Combined with the assessment of existing drainage capacity of Mudanjiang City, use the hydraulic model to assess the risk of urban waterlogging and classification of occurrence. On this basis, choose separate drainage system, partion urban drainage district, and detaile the description of drainage canal rehabilitation programs of each partition. use the hydraulic models to checke and optimize the planning of rainwater pipe network.In waterlogging prevention planning, firstly the urban waterlogging prevention system were analyzed. the comprehensive transformation plan of urban water system of inland river was described. The Blue Line and the Green Line of inland rivers were redesigned. The layout of urban waterlogging prevention facility was specially studied. Including the line of urban flood water vent channel, using existing or new regulation, storage facilities and natural water bodies to jointly resolve urban waterlogging water regulation and storage problems, adjusting the planning of construction sites, using municipal drainage pumping station as storm drainage pumping stations and other specific measures.
