With the economic development of the western region, the scale of construction projects in the loess area is more and more large,due to the needs of urban development, such as Xi’an subway and many other large-scale construction have to build in large thickness collapsible loess area, with collapsible loess layer thickness increases, collapsible loess in stratum structure distribution tends to be complex, and laboratory tests show that loess collapse is not a continuous distribution but discrete distribution, collapsibility deformation of has a significant impact. At present, the loess collapsibility evaluation, using a regional correction coefficient correction difference of laboratory tests and field immersion test, due to the complexity of the loess, using an area correction coefficient method to evaluate large thickness of loess collapsibility has certain limitations.Taking Xi’an loess plateau region of the large thickness as the research object, analyzing collapsibility distribution characteristics of loess plateau area in Xi’an and proposing a considering the collapsibility of the distribution of collapse deformation evaluation method. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1) completion of the immersion test and laboratory soil test results Xi’an large thickness of the loess site were analyzed for both evaluation methods result differences from loess formations distribution were analyzed qualitatively.(2) in Xi’an Shaoling plateau of the loess as the research object, collecting Xi’an plateau project loess laboratory tests’ data, summarize and analyze the loess plateau collapsible characteristics of spatial distribution, Xi’an plateau area of collapsible loess are classified according to collapsible distribution features.(3) based on the above analysis, using numerical analysis software to simulate the different loess stratum structure Collapsible distribution combination relation, discontinuous distribution of Q2 on the deformation of collapsible loess, and proposed to consider the collapsibility of spatial distribution of collapsible deformation correction coefficient.
