Investigation And Research On The Present Situation Of The Traditional Library In Jiaxing And Huzhou

Our country has a long history and cultural diversity, library culture since Qin and Han dynasties, the feudal dynasties of change and development. For thousands of years, bearing the weight of the public and private library of library culture not only preserved the ancestors of the spirit in the history of the evolution of the heritage, but also plays an important role in cultural transmission. Zhejiang is the place of origin, since ancient times book collection culture prosperity, the famous bibliophile and library has become the symbol of preservation texts and cultural carrier, is carrying the essence of national culture. The existing library to understand architectural history and Chinese culture is of great significance.This paper existing traditional library in Jiaxing and Huzhou area as the research background, analysis of its historical development venation, probe into its cultural source; And through the literature data collection, field survey and mapping and theory carding and graphing method to obtain the existing library construction layout, spatial location, environment, architectural form, technical measures and valuable information on detail decoration and so on, and carries on the summary research. Utilizing the means such as research, discussion and contrast, parsing library architectural features of social and culture attribute and the technical attributes, delve into private library architectural culture value.This paper mainly includes the following several parts:The first part: introduce the research background, significance and method of theory.Library in the view of the second part: the history of the related concepts to explain, and expounds the types and characteristics of traditional library architecture.The third part: from the two aspects of social and historical inquiry in Jiaxing and Huzhou region of the evolution process of private library career. Survey compiled by field visits and existing protection status quo of library.The fourth part: from the private library’s location, layout and space organization three aspects has carried on the systematic exploration.The fifth part: in Jiaxing and Huzhou area existing private library building plane, elevation, technology, materials, decoration aspects made by analysis and induction.The sixth part: the library architectural heritage value and the use of theoretical analysis.The ancient library architecture is a carrier of traditional culture, is the ancient bibliophile “poetic habitation” way of life. This study from the perspective of architecture and on the other hand, hopes to library building conservation and rational utilization to provide reference in the future. On the other hand, under the new environment, the library potential culture value, pass the good spiritual substance, in order to reconstruct the urban cultural context of today.
