Red mud of fly ash is recognized as a solid waste emissions greatly.Because of its stack, emission problems caused serious pollution to the environment, its resource-oriented utilization has always pay close attention to by the people. This article focuses on the subject of red mud, fly ash preparation geological polymer. On the basis of laboratory soil test mechanical parameters,to analyze its strength characteristics, combined with the finite element numerical simulation research as a retaining wall engineering application effect of packing. In order to throughgeological polymer engineering application,Reach on the red mud, fly ash in the engineering application of the purpose of recycling use. Results as follows:1.Through the study of the chemical composition of red mud, fly ash test,Get in the resumption of chongqin red mud from the Al2O3, SiO2, Fe2O3 primarily, three kinds of total oxide content more than 70%;The self-provided power plant of jiugang group is given priority to with Al2O3, SiO2,Ca O, Fe2O3 of fly ash, four kinds of oxides in total more than 85%;Physical properties testing of red mud dry density is 0.6 g/cm3,Fly ash of the dry density is 0.98 g/cm3,Red mud, fly ash are lighter weight;Red mud particle size for screening results is d60=0.032 mm, d10=0.008 mm,particle size of fly ash screening results is d60=0.065 mm,d10= 0.005 mm,two kinds of particles is very fine, the polymerization reaction more fully2.Using red mud, fly ash, silica gel and loess geological polymer as raw material to make sample,Through indoor compaction test to determine the sample after the compaction of the optimum moisture content and change rule for the maximum dry density,Results show that the ratio of each group of maximum dry density increases with the optimal moisture content of the first increase after reducing characteristics, red mud-fly ash as the ratio of 1:3,sample has good compaction property,The optimum moisture content of 21.3%, 21.3%, 22.9%, 25.8%;3.The optimal moisture content will be made under the condition of geological polymer sample,Through indoor direct shear test ratio of raw ingredients, the silicone content on shear strength of the polymer, results showed that the mechanical properties of the best matching condition is: red mud, fly ash, loess for 15:45:40 silica mortar at 12% moisture content(22.9%);under the condition of the ratio of the mechanical strength of geological polymer with maintenance and prolongation of enhancement,And after 28 d curing age still has a tendency to continue to increase;4.Under the condition of the optimal proportion of geological polymer production, through indoor triaxial compression experiments show that with the confining pressure increases,Its elastic modulus increases, curing age, the compression performance, and the curing age is 28 d and confining pressure is 150 kpa of secant modulus maximum of 30.3 MPa;5.With sand soil, loess and geological polymer, respectively, of the preparation of the retaining wall, respectively the stability of the three types of retaining wall is calculated under the same conditions,Results show that the largest red mud, fly ash geopolymer basal pressure minimum best stability, resistance to sliding and overturning resistance, obvious advantages when used for retaining walls;6.With fine sand, fly ash and red mud, fly ash and soil geological polymer as a retaining wall filler respectively,By FLAC3 D program of retaining wall engineering example to do the numerical simulation, under the same conditions are analyzed and calculated by three kinds of packing the stability of the retaining wall. Results showed that the red mud, fly ash geopolymer is used as the retaining wall filler, the smallest and retaining wall horizontal displacement and settlement of brace anti-pulling capacity, the best performance is better than with fly ash soil and sandy soil...
