Based on a primary school in North of China for testing and data processing, using finite element analysis software Midas/GEN to establish the overall structure model, Getting structure periodic, displacement and shear force, acceleration and other data of the building reinforced by isolation, doing studies; according to a second-order moment calculation method taking the variable distribution into account, did calculation on the reliability of structural members, and calculating the reliability of the structure. The results showed that: isolation can reduce the structural amplification to the earthquake, more conducive to improve the reliability of the structure.1. Reliability of wall of existing building takes a large proportion in the structure reliability calculation; Isolated reinforcement can significantly improve the reliability of structural members of existing buildings, considering the weight function method to calculate the reliability of the whole structure, it can avoid overestimating the reliability of the structure reinforced by isolation.2. Isolated reinforcement can significantly improve the reliability of existing buildings with high thickness ratio, reduce the gap of reliability caused by thickness ratio of wall, and improve reliability of the structure.3. Isolation can reduce the structural amplification to the earthquake, more conducive to improve the reliability of the structure.
