The ironless permanent magnet synchronous linear motor(ILPMSLM) is studied in the thesis. On the basis of reading lots of references, several main work has been done as follows:Firstly, the basic structure and working principle of linear motor have been introduced, and then the development of ironless permanent magnet synchronous linear motor has been briefly analyzed.Then some basic knowledge of the electromagnetic field and the structure of the ironless permanent magnet synchronous linear motor are introduced. The magnetic field of motor is analyzed by "equivalent magnetic potential method" and "equivalent magnetization current method".By the way of comparing the analytical solutions with the finite element analysis results, the "equivalent magnetization current method" is proved more accurate. The analytic equation of magnetic flux density is deduced, and the influences of the motor key dimensions on the magnetic flux density is analyzed. Winding construction and characteristic of the motor are introduced. The back EMF and thrust are deduced according to the magnetic flux density and winding construction.The thrust density with different winding structure and the relationship between copper loss and thrust are studied. The influence of lateral end effect on motor performance as well as the influence of motor key dimensions on lateral end effect are analyzed.Finally, the empirical design equations of the key dimensions and manufactured and characteristic parameters of the motor are proposed.A prototype is designed, and the performance of the prototype is analyzed by finite element method. The motor dimension is finalized by comparing analytical results with finite element results. An operating platform of the ironless permanent magnet synchronous linear motor is manufactured,and the performance of the motor is tested. |
