The high frequency link matrix rectifier consists of input filter, matrix converter, high frequency transformer, uncontrolled rectifier, and output filter. It can achieve unity power factor for grid-side, and has the advantages of high frequency, isolation transform, less transformation series, high power density and so on. The topology has outstanding research significance in the field of power electronic devices, and draws wide attention and research.In this paper, based on the high frequency matrix rectifier as the research object.Firstly, the topology of sigle-phase high frequency link matrix rectifier is analyzed. It can be divided into voltage source and current source according to the input and output filter form. Using de-re-couple idea, de-re-couple PWM strategy is proposed for voltage source,and de-re-couple PWM strategy and SVPWM strategy are proposed for current source.Also the working process is analyzed in detail.Secondly, the optimization of SVPWM strategy is proposed for three-phase current source high frequency link matrix rectifier. The commutation process is mainly reserched,and there is non natural commutation. In this paper, 6 sectors is turned into 12 sectors by examining the input side of the three-phase voltage size relations, and effective current vector synthesis order is changed to realize natural commutation that can reduce the switching loss and commutation time.Again, The diode is turned into bidirectional controllable switch tube in three-phase current source high frequency link matrix rectifier. The topology is called AC-DC matrix converter with high-frequency isolation. And the bidirectional-power-flow can be achieved. The corresponding modulation strategy is simply introduced.Then, based on the optimization of SVPWM strategy and three-phase current source rectifier model, the mathematical model of three-phase current source high frequency link matrix rectifier is established. The direct current double closed-loop control based on dq coordinate system is applied to three-phase current source high frequency link matrix rectifier, then the parameters of PI regulators are designed.Finally, On the basis of theoretical analysis and simulation verification, the hardware and software of the whole system are designed in detail, and the three-phase current source high frequency link matrix rectifier experimental platform with DSP as the core of the digital control is built. The feasibility and effectiveness of the modulation strategies and control methods are verified by experimental results.
