The pulse power supply system is a core of the electromagnetic launcher, the research of which plays a vital role to the development of the electromagnetic launch technology.In this paper, the advantage is pulse power supply particularity and resonant soft-switching converter. This paper deeply studies the LCC resonant soft-switching converter output characteristics of PFN charging system. This paper analyze the factor of affecting current output characteristic, it has important practical significance for improve the system power supply capacity.Firstly, this paper analyzes the operation principles of the LCC resonant converter operating in discontinuous current mode, after deriving the expressions of mathematical formulas in each stage. Based on this, this paper further analysis of the double-pulse output mode, such as normalize expression of output current, resonant current and critical continuous switching frequency be studied in low voltage gain situation, which just with the parameters of equivalent voltage gain and series parallel resonant capacitance ratio have related. Taking into account the practical application of the transformer parasitic capacity constraints on the two key parameters, the resonant tank carried out parameter optimization within a reasonable range.Secondly, in order to suppress the influence of the leakage current of the charging voltage, after reaching a preset voltage, use of small current to charge the capacitor for the output capacitor leakage supplement, the circuit in one-shot pulse output mode,accomplish constant voltage output mode in high voltage gain. Output current characteristics were analyzed effectively by the normalization processing.Again, paper designs protection circuit portion of overvoltage, over-current,overheating for circuit components. At the same time be able to observe the change of the circuit voltage and current. The paper need further design test and protection circuit, the system can be real-time monitored and protected in the process of charging, and through bus communication realized information exchange with the host computer. Put forward a detecting circuit scheme that depend on DSP of TMS320LF2407 A, and completed the input voltage, the charging voltage and the resonant current monitor circuit, which canplay quickly cordoned off the PWM wave output and stop charging machine work in the case of abnormal, and upload it to the upper computer displays the corresponding alarm status indication.Finally, through the simulation and experiment of the 5k V voltage /1A current /5k W of the charging power supply, the correctness of the theoretical analysis is verified.
