Having a great number of advantages of strong anti-interference ability, corrosion resistance, no edge and easy networking, the Fiber Bragg Grating(FBG) sensor has received more and more attention of researchers at home and abroad, but it is difficult to demodulate FBG signal with high cost. A demodulation system is designed in this paper based on the piezoelectric ceramics with advantages of low cost, simple structure and high precision. The main contents of this paper are as follows:First, this paper analyzes the development of FBG at home and abroad, introduces the advantages of FBG sensor and the prospect the development of FBG. Based on the coupling mode theory of FBG, the temperature and stress sensing models of FBG are analyzed deeply. And several traditional FBG demodulation methods are compared in detail. According to the actual demand, the FBG demodulation method based on piezoelectric ceramic is selected.Secondly, the properties of piezoelectric ceramics piezoelectric are further analyzed. Choosing the center wavelength 1560 nm FBG as the measurement FBG, the FBG is bonded on the piezoelectric ceramic electricity and obtain the FBG center wavelength corresponded to the different driving voltage through applying saw-tooth wave voltage to the piezoelectric ceramic. And the photoelectric conversion module, power module and signal processing module are designed and verified.Thirdly, the embedded platform STM32 is discussed in detail. A detailed description of the data processing flow of STM32 is carried out. The AD conversion module and LCD display control module are introduced in detail, which displays the temperature measured by the voltage temperature algorithm on LCD.Finally, this paper verifies the whole system. The experimental result shows that the system has high measurement accuracy, good stability, and can be applied to the actual temperature measurement system with practical value.
