With the deepening of China’s reform and opening up and rapid development of economy, the highway construction scale and speed are in a very fast development stage, the people to the requirements of the highway from simple to gradually transformed into a major destination for traffic conditions of fast, comfortable, safe, economic, and environmental protection. With the speeding up of the highway construction and highway quality requirements improve, some difficult engineering problem also gradually exposed. In China’s coastal and inland plains, mountains are widely distribution of the saturated soft soil, soft soil foundation in highway are extremely hard, the settlement of foundation in soft soil area is an important factor affecting the quality of the highway. Therefore, to meet new requirements of highway, highway soft soil foundation long-term deformation is a technical problems needed to solve the highway construction in soft soil area. In this paper, based on XingHeng the first phase, the following work:(1)Highway is briefly described the current development trend, based on the soft soil foundation in engineering for soft soil of Lake Sediments, and so on soft soil of Lake Sediments are summarized the determination methods, engineering properties and deformation characteristics.(2)By reference to relevant literature to summarize the current applied to some methods of foundation settlement calculation and forecast.(3)According to the data measured using exponential curve, poisson curve, hyperbolic and predict star field method, is based on traffic data to predict traffic within the next six months after a year of settlement, the predicted values and the observed data were analyzed, and then according to the traffic within one year after the late settlement observation data to predict and analyze the accuracy of these methods.(4)The numerical simulation of cement soil mixing pile and CFG composite foundation by using PLAXIS software. Analysis of the long term deformation of the highway, and compared with the existing observation data. In the simulation process,the correction parameters are compared and analyzed, and the influence of various parameters on the long-term deformation of soft soil foundation is obtained.
