With the increase of the operating speed of the high-speed train, the system dynamics performance is facing the unprecedented challenge. According to the technical parameters of a certain type of 300 km high speed train and multi body dynamics simulation software ADAMS/Rail, the vehicle model of high speed bullet train is established, and the simulation analysis methods of the model are studied. Based on various operating conditions, the operation stability, stability and safety of high speed train are analyzed in detail, and the influences of operating speed, load, suspension parameters and track structure parameters on the dynamic performance of the vehicle are investigated. Details of the results are as follows:(1) On the basis of full investigation and study of the present situation of domestic and foreign research, the dynamic performance of the vehicle system is described in detail, such as the stability of motion, the stability and safety of the operation. The calculation method and threshold value of evaluation index are explained, which could lay a theoretical foundation for the following dynamic simulation and performance evaluation.(2) According to the technical parameters of a certain type of 300 km high speed train and multi body dynamics simulation software ADAMS/Rail, empty body, heavy body and bogie frame are established. On the basis of this, the front bogie, rear bogie and car body subsystem are built up, then the subsystems are assembled into the whole vehicle model. Comparing with the relevant data, the correctness of the model is verified.(3)By using the method of velocity classification, the hunting of the model of EMU is researched. By using shock type lateral excitation, force the high-speed operation of the model of hunting instability, calculate the nonlinear critical velocity of the model is 490 km/h. Regarding German low interference as spectrum track irregularity, to EMU do simulation analysis in different speed grades. By using Lateral and vertical acceleration of vehicle body, the sperling riding index is calculated, and the influence of empty and heavy impact on the stable performance of the body is provided. According to derailment coefficient and the rate of wheel load reduction, the operational safety performance of EMU is studied. In addition, the effects of suspension system parameters on the running stability and safety of high speed are analyzed in detail, and some important influence laws are found.(4) From the perspective of the influence of track structure parameters on the dynamic performance of the vehicle, the part of the track structure model is considered as flexible body. The law of the influence on dynamic performance of vehicles made by the change of lateral stiffness and vertical stiffness between rail and sleeper, sleeper and ballast is researched.The research methods and results of this paper are expected to provide guiding significance for the design, simulation and operation maintenance of EMU.
