Due to the strong randomness 、 apparently variability 、 increasing interconnection capacity of wind and photovoltaic power, it brings more challenges to the stability of power system. The stability of power system integrated with renewable energy such as wind 、 wind-PV system 、wind-PV-storage hybrid system and so on are analysed in this paper. This paper is derived from the project “research on the control technology of power system with large-scale renewable energy connected”, which is supported by the Research Fund of Shanxi coal-based key scientific and technological. The detailed researches are as follows:The dynamic models of the constant speed wind turbine(CSWT) and the doubly-fed induction generator(DFIG), concludes turbine 、 drive system 、asynchronous generator and converter are analysed, The dynamic models of PV system, concludes model of phovoltaic cells and control frame of the PV generator are analysed, The dynamic models of Battery Energy Storage System(BESS), concludes basic model of battery and control frame of BESS.Researching on grid-connection of different types of wind farms, it will has an effect on small signal stability and transient stability of power systems as wind power penetration varies, The dynamic models of CSWT and DFIG are constructed in Power System Analysis Toolbox(PSAT), a detailed analysis on impacts of grid-connection of different types of wind farms on power system damping characteristics、low-frequency oscillation characteristics and transient stability under different wind power penetration in the IEEE three-machine nine-bus system are given respectively. The simulation results show that small signal stability of power systems can be improved、transient stability will increase firstly and then decrease when wind turbine built by CSWT as wind power penetration increases at some extend. Instead, when wind turbine built by DFIG, it will deteriorate both small signal stability and transient stability. Further research on the stability of power system integrated with wind-PV system、wind-PV-storage hybrid system. The dynamic model and the overall coordinated control frame for wind-PV-storage hybrid system are constructed in Digital Simulation and Electrical Network calculation program(DIgSILENT). a detailed analysis on impacts of grid-connection of different types such as wind、PV、wind-PV system、wind-PV-storage hybrid system on small signal stability and transient stability under different penetration in the IEEE ten-machine thirty nine-bus system are given respectively. The simulation model in this paper can be analysed grid-connection of different types of renewable energy、wind turbines and capacity on small signal stability and transient stability, And be provided a reference for power grid planning and suggestions in order to guarantee the stable operation of power system.
