Permanent magnet synchronous motor has the advantages of high efficiency, high power factor, simple control system, fast dynamic response,easy to implement high-speed and easy to cool winding, as a type of main energy-saving motors during the second five national, it has been widely used in many areas. In terms of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor, the salient effect is obviously because of the nonuniform air gap and nonlinear magnetic circuit, some deficiencies are still exist on the motor optimization design. The paper based on Shanxi Natural Science Foundation(2013011035-1),the characters of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM) of22 kW was analyzed, the optimal design and performance analysis were completed by analytical analysis, numerical analysis and experimental methods,specific studies as following contents:1. Established the model of PMSM with the finite element analysis software Ansoft/Maxwell. The static and transient characteristics of PMSM was calculated, such as no-load flux density of air-gap, inductance curve, cogging torque curve, torque-angle curve, which prepared for the optimization design.2. Based on traditional magnetic equivalent circuit method, considering flux leakage inside the motor, an improved magnetic equivalent circuit model was proposed, which taking into account the distribution of magnetic field and the magnetic circuit saturation effects, combined with the "field-road" method to amendment related parameters; Equivalent magnetic circuit method of VB was compiled based on electromagnetic design program, the results was compared to the results of the finite element analysis to verify the correctness of the model.3. Based on Taguchi orthogonal, the length, width and high center of the permanent magnet, the stator tooth width, the gap length was selected as optimize factor, efficiency, no-load loss and torque ripple was selected as output factor, L16 orthogonal table was established according to Hardarmard matrix method. Finally the optimal program was deduced, verifying the feasibility of the scheme by the finite element simulation.4. The model of PMSM was established with Maxwell, the drive control model was established with Simplorer, transient characteristics was got with the method of Maxwell+Simplorer by providing co-simulation interface implements,and harmonic injection was adopted to reduce the torque ripple based on co-simulation results.5. Experiment platform of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor was established, the static characteristics was measured, and the result was used to compared with finite element analysis results to verify the correctness of the finite element method. The reason of the error between element calculation andthe experimental was analyzed.
