Injection molding process is an important technology in the processing of plastic products, which is widely used in the field of electronics, communications, aviation and so on. It has the advantages which could lighten the weight of the electronic products, and reduce the production cost of the electronic products, and also improve the quality of the electronic products. The two main factors that affect the quality of electronic connectors are the volume shrinkage and the warping deformation of the product. Application of molding tool CAE software can be used to simulate the injection molding process of electronic products, also predict the quality of production problems, and optimize the combination of process parameters. It can also help engineering and technical personnel to reduce the amount of products trial, saving manufacturing costs.This paper takes the phone card connector products processing as an example, combined with computer software Moldflow to simulate 3 select 2 card connector manufacturing process, and optimize the flatness of volume and shrinkage rate of product. And then the paper conducts the product trial to verify the quality of the simulation at last. The main research contents and the main research findings are as follows:Firstly, this paper uses three-dimensional software to establish three dimensional modeling of the phone 3 select 2 electronic connector, and then import model into Moldflow CAD doctor, preprocess of 3D model and to suture model of short curves and free edges and the free edge of the loop. According to the characteristics of the connector, this paper uses this software to simulate the injection molding process of the phone card connector filling options, and find the best gate. Subsequently, the researchers recreate casting and cooling program according to the actual production of the connector.Secondly, this paper establishes the model of mobile phone 3 select 2 card connector injection system, then time parameters such as factor injection, cooling factor, holding pressure factor, temperature parameters namely melt factor, mold factor, pressure parameters that guarantees pressure factor of the six processing craft was optimized in the molding process of the connectors. According to the processing characteristics of the material of the connector, the researchers select the five levels for each processing parameter. And the experiment is arranged according to the orthogonal method. Then the test results are statistically analyzed, and the influence of the process on the optimization of the 2 card connector of mobile phone is studied quantitatively.Finally, this paper establishes BP neural network model of mobile phone 3 select 2 card connector to describe the relationship between the six parameters and the two optimization indexes. Numerical simulation results for the sample data are imported into the network model design based on the model. It can be found in the BP neural network has the characteristics of fast speed and good effect compared with the mobile phone 3 select 2 card connector by orthogonal test results. The neural network is used to predict the value of the two optimization indexes of the mobile phone 3 select 2 card connector with different processing parameters, and the mathematical method of this approximation reflects the optimization of the product quality of the engineering software. Then the test results show that the optimized processing parameters can be used to control the volume shrinkage and the volume shrinkage of the mobile phone 3 select 2 card connector.The researches reveals that the engineering software technology can be used to predict some engineering problems before the injection parts, and then to optimize the shape or processing parameters of the model. By this method, the production time can be reduced accordingly, and the manufacturing cost of the company can be saved. It verifies that the use combination of engineering software application in molding manufacturing process optimization can eliminate manufacturing defects, improve the processing scheme in the process of mobile phone 3 select 2 card connector simulation through the corresponding test.
