Highway tunnel plays an important role in the transport, whereas the tunnel disease impact seriously on traffic safety. Which is a kind of tunnel cracks disease, it is essential to detect the tunnel surface cracks effectively for security tunnel. Unlike the tunnel face of concrete pavement and buildings, there is a difference of light intensity, low contrast,complicated background texture, noise and more cases.The highway tunnel crack is treated as a background, it is designed cracks detection system of the tunnel highway based on digital image processing technology, proposed combine detection algorithm theory with adaptive gray, it is solve effectively the questions of cracks in the surface of the tunnel and give examples of the extent of damage assessment and fracture width prediction.The main contents of the research are as follows:1) Depth analysis of the impact of cracks in the tunnel particular environment,Comparative advantages and disadvantages of the conventional detection algorithm in crack detection. it is proposed image processing method applied in the tunnel environment, including filtering based on gray relational degree, GM(1, 1) model for edge detection algorithm, improved adaptive thresholding algorithm and morphological methods.2) To be able to obtain information on fracture characteristics and fracture profile,thinning of the cracks image, and the branch filter out glitches and edge connection processing algorithm method are researched on the basis of crack detection and identification,they are analyzed by simulation experiments.3) Summarize the impact of external factors cracks, focusing on the biggest method are used for predicting the short-term crack width,and the gray correlation degree is used to adjust control the cracks, and Xi’an environmental parameters in a basement cracks are treated as a examples to predictive analysis.4) According to the characteristics of cracks in the tunnel, it is designed to crackimage acquisition system to collect a set of DSP controller, CMOS module acquisition module, a mobile scaffold and concrete containing crack simulation modules and other components of the tunnel environment, it is important to analyze the crack image acquisition during image calibration technique. The crack image acquisition is realized on the basis of Visual DSP ++ software platform.5) A tunnel processing simulation software is developed which based on the crack in the MATLAB development environment and combined with cracks in the tunnel image processing method.it achieves the identification and detection of the extent of damage road cracks in the tunnel assessment.
