With the speed of urban construction and development is faster and faster, the construction scale of the high-rise, high-rise buildings and the underground project is larger and larger,so the foundation pit excavation engineering especially the construction of deep foundation pit excavation engineering is more and more popular. Moreover, the construction of subway and urban road tunnels in big cities has set off a boom in the construction of deep foundation pit. Throughout the development and construction of foundation pit in the past ten years, there have been many cases of failure of foundation pit engineering. As an important part of the foundation pit engineering construction, Foundation pit monitoring plays an important role in ensuring the safety and abnormal condition of foundation pit excavation process and taking measures in time. Take the road project of Fuzhou City East Road as the research object. And the main analysis and research are the following main contents.(1) The test items such as the supporting structure, supporting axial force, outer water level of foundation pit, construction of foundation pit and displacement of ground surface settlement ware monitored. The abnormal condition of force and deformation of foundation pit retaining system is discovered. Ensure the safety of foundation pit construction through eliminate the danger in time. Analysis foundation pit in the excavation process the change rule of each test item through the chart method, the fitting method, the comparison method thoroughly according to the test results.(2) Using Midas software to simulate based on the engineering conditions, compared with the actual deformation of foundation pit and the simulation results and verify the validity of the software simulation. Results show that although there are differences between the calculated results and the measured results, the changes of the test items are consistent with the changes of the test items. The validity of the simulation results and the measured results are proved. So the stress and deformation of the retaining structure of foundation pit are predicted by the method of software simulation, and deal with measures in view of the weak link in advance to ensure the safety of foundation pit engineering construction.
