In the history of Headlamp technology, The Incandescent lamp is the earliest light source for automobile headlight. With the fast development of headlamp technology. The automobile headlight light source has experienced the replacement of halogen lamp and xenon lamp. In the past few years, LED is being popularized in Headlamp. At present, the laser light is at the forefront of current study.Based on the principle of light mixing, This paper choose the SDY-552 class YAG(aluminates)phosphor to cooperate with the 450 nm blue laser。And decided that the silica gel as the packaging material according to the relevant characteristics of laser. And make sure that light source need astigmatism to form a uniform white color light. by analyzed the scattering model of the light through the fluorescent powder. at last we got the uniform white color light in simulation.Then we make sure the first correction in The optical design is necessary according to the comparison with the traditional optical lens. And decided the specific form of first correction for high headlamp and low headlamp according to the different standard.Finally, we put forward a new design method for high and low headlamp by using the conservation of energy and the law of refraction and reflection based on the theory of non imaging optics. The equivalent light source has collimated by TIR lens / parabolic reflector before distribution by free form surface. and a method for designing the regional design of superimposed illumination area is proposed according to the requirements of the clear cut line by GB. The specific modeling and simulation calculation is given in the end. The simulation calculation results meet the requirements. The uniform illumination spot is obtained in results.
