| As an important power machine, marine diesel engine is widely used in all walks of life and plays an important role both in shipping industry and in our daily life. However, due to its complicated structure and bad working conditions, marine diesel engine always breaks down and results in economic losses or casualties. Therefore, in order to enhance the reliability and safety performance of marine diesel engine, research on fault diagnosis technology for diesel engine proves to have great significance because it enables people to take rapid and accurate diagnosis and solution on the problem of black smoke of marine diesel engine to avoid unnecessary economic losses.This essay briefly introduces the operating principle of marine diesel engine and makes a comprehensive analysis on causes for black smoke of diesel engine. Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP) is applied to find out the major reasons for black smoke, and Vibration Analysis, together with practical case analysis, is applied to explore technology on analyzing and solving the problem of black smoke through analysis on the air intake and exhaust system, combustor volume and fuel system. It is proved that Analytical Hierarchy Process and Vibration Analysis can accurately find out the reasons for black smoke in a short time and help solve the problem of black smoke of marine diesel engineWith the continuous innovation on modern technology, marine diesel engine is also in rapid development on its monitoring and analyzing technology and reliability performance, providing a more abundant knowledge base and mature technology for analysis and solution on operation faults of diesel engine. It is believed that in future the fault diagnosis technology will be more intelligentized and modernized, and on-condition maintenance will surely be thoroughly carried out to create much more benefit for our society. |
