Traditional thermal protection material is based on light weight and heat release, with the technical difficulty that antioxidant and long-term repeated usage. As a result, Composite high emission of coating can send out heat in a form of radiation effectively, which productively counteract the phenomenon that the surface material of air craft is over-heated, and also improves the surface emissivity of coating and thermal shock resistance of the surface promisingly.In this article, I use Sol-gel method to make POSS with different functions which is also used to improve the performance of phenolic resin. Besides, I make POSS/phenolic resin complex film with different functional groups, which effectively deals with the problem that the transition layer surface penetration too much leading to the obvious weight increase in the unit area of the thermal insulation and improves the heat tolerance of the film coating materials. By comparing the POSS/phenolic resin complex film with different functional groups in the aspect of the surface flim of heat shield,heat resistance and the residual carbon amount, I arrive at the best composition of the POSS/phenolic resin complex film. By adding modified POSS/phenolic resin complex film to the low temperature, I perform SEM test and analysis over the surface film and the fracture surface of the heat shield coating. Then I combine the result with corresponding FT-IR and TG to study the structure change of the coating when processed in high temperature, and combine the corresponding XRD to conclude the reaction mechanism.During the process of further improvement of the complex film, add certain amount of high emission of inorganic materials so that the ability to resist the infrared emission can be improved. By testing the infrared emitting ability I arrive at the perfect ratio of MoSi2 and Co2O3. Related XRD test shows the combining of the two kinds of materials, after high temperature operation, generate special Co2SiO4, CoMoO4. The material combining method make it possible that the radiativity of the material supplement and enhance each other in different temperature and wave band, which improves surface emissivity, increase thermal cycling flims effectively, which improves the emissivity of the high emission coating.
