As modern architecture gradually improves the requirements of building unit’s mechanical property, the superior mechanical property of concrete-filled steel tube structure applies in numerous construction projects. With the development of economic construction in China in recent years, acid rain pollution is becomes a major factor for decreasing the durability of building structure. Therefore, it has great engineering practical value in studying the seismic performance of the components of square concrete-filled steel tube with the corrosion of acid rain.This article carries out low cycle loading tests through both of current accelerated corrosion and no corrosion of the concrete-filled square steel tube specimens. It also researches the influence of acid rain corrosion on seismic performance of concrete filled with steel tubular specimens. The accuracy and applicability of relevant specification codes in calculating the compression-bending capacity of concrete filled steel tube of the wharfs at home and abroad is analyzed as well. The main research is as follows:1. It carries out a tensile test to standard steel tensile specimen with acid rain corrosion. The low carbon steel’s elastic modulus, ultimate strength, yield strength and the relationship between ultimate elongation and corrosion rate equation under acid rain corrosion are obtained through the experimental data regression. Then it sets up degradation mechanism of low carbon steel mechanical property under the acid rain corrosion2.This experiment does a low cycle loading test with 12 square concrete-filled steel tubes which have achieved the desired rate, observes the destruction progress and records each specimen’s test phenomena and failure pattern in detail; draw a P-? delta hysteresis curve. Finally, combining with low carbon steel mechanical degradation mechanism, it analyzes the influences of corrosion rate on square concrete-filled steel tubes’ carrying capacity, hysteresis characteristics, deformation capacity, ductility, stiffness and energy dissipation capacity under low cycle loading based on experiment data. Meanwhile, axial compression ratio’s influence on each mechanics performance of square concrete-filled steel specimens with corrosion is also discussed.3.It checks whether the current domestic and international rules and regulations is applicable to calculate compression-bending capacity of square concrete-filled steel tubes specimens under acid rain corrosion. This article does a contrastive analysis on experiment data with the compression-bending capacity of square concrete-filled steel tubes specimens under acid rain corrosion through domestic and foreign standard specifications, and puts forward some suggestions accordingly.
