The main role of offshore oil and gas gathering and transportation pressure vessels is a process that collecting and processing the product of offshore oil field and transported ashore. They are important part of offshore oil and gas extraction system. But after they work in the sea for a long time, due to material, design, manufacture, installation, administration, corrosion and construction etc, the offshore oil and gas gathering and transportation pressure vessels would be damaged and failure, this will result in explosion, poisoning, fire and other accidents, even great economic losses, casualties and environmental pollution. Thus it is significance to analysis of failure form fault tree of offshore oil and gas gathering and transportation pressure vessels, found the main risk factor of influence offshore oil and gas gathering and transportation pressure vessels failure, clear the weak links of the oil and gas gathering and transportation system, then to put forward the timely and effective protective measures. In this paper, analysis and classification the failure factors by statistic the failure accident of offshore oil and gas gathering and transportation pressure vessels.Establishment the fault tree model of failure forms to deeply analysis the major risk factor of failure, qualitative and quantitative analysis the risk level and the important degree of the failure factors. According to the safety evaluation result and the actual environment system, put forward effective protective measures. Establish system reliability evaluation model to establish an effective analysis method for the reliability evaluation of the system. The main context is as follows:At first, collection of offshore oil and gas gathering and transportation pressure vessels data and statistics the failure accident of offshore oil and gas gathering and transportation pressure vessels. In order to analysis the failure factors of offshore oil and gas gathering and transportation pressure vessels. The main failure factors are the quality of design and construction, the operating environment, corrosion, third party damage and poor management and so on.Second, establishment fault tree model of offshore oil and gas gathering and transportation pressure vessel failure form. Analysis the failure factors of offshore oil and gas gathering and transportation pressure vessels by the accident tree evaluation method, to determine the basic event importance degree.Third, combine with fault tree analysis software, statistical data, fuzzy mathematic and the expert scoring method to operation the probability of elementary events, get the result of quantitative analysis and identify the main risk factors. And then, use Dow safety evaluation method to appraise offshore oil and gas gathering and transportation pressure vessel and contrast with the results of the analysis fault tree assessment. In order to distinguish the main risk factors and the weak link in operation process of offshore oil and gas gathering and transportation pressure vessel. Based on the evaluation index system and operation environment propose the effective management and prevention measures. Provide theoretical support for offshore platform management and production and ensure the safe production of offshore platform. Finally, in order to evaluate the reliability of the system, establishment of the system reliability evaluation model. Study on the system from three aspects of safety reliability assessment, environmental reliability assessment, economics reliability assessment, to research system reliability.
