With the rapid development of China’s economy, High-speed rail is suitable for China’s economic and geographical characteristics and population distribution, it has become China’s main mode of transport and has made a leapfrog development. China’s high-speed railway running speed has reached 300 km / h, it brings great traffic convenience for people to travel. With the improvement of EMU running speed, improve the safety of the traction power supply system(TPS) to guarantee EMU stable and efficient operation is important. Therefore, Corresponding security measures proposed on the basis of the assess security risks of highspeed railway traction power supply system, it will be useful to help improve the security and stability of the traction power supply system to ensure the safe and stable operation of the railway system.The main content of this paper is to assess security risks of high-speed railway and proposed corresponding security measures, all of these are based on its traction power supply system constructed composition, links and logical relationship between risk factors, failure modes and the components to each other.First, it has been described in this paper that domestic and foreign scholars on the status quo security risk assessment traction power supply system has been described and pointed out that assessment of the traction power supply system relative lack of security risks, it is even more rare in the country. Secondly, the theory and methods commonly used in security risk assessment has been introduced in this paper, it also focuses on the risk assessment process of the power system, and providing an important reference for the high-speed railway traction power supply system security risk assessment. After using FTA and FMEA methods analyzed on the traction power supply system substations, catenary, EMU, it proposed improvement measures, and noted that the safety analysis of traditional methods and resources consumption, subjective assessment of the effect of other shortcomings. Then, this paper takes MBSA analytical method, which is a more suitable method for RAMS analysis of complex systems, and the SIMFIA as a simulation tool for high-speed railway traction power supply system of overall security risk analysis. This paper proposes measures which based on the analysis of the results of the model, so as to effectively guarantee the traction power supply system safe and stable. Finally, For Beijing-Tianjin high-speed railway traction power supply system set the actual model and parameters, and safety calculation and analysis base on its investigation on the data acquisition device element.
