This paper focuses on the research of vehicle braking deceleration tracking problem. According to the expected deceleration value, plan the total braking torque of the wheel, and the braking torque is applied on the electronic hydraulic brake system.Firstly, introduce the electronic hydraulic brake system hardware structure and working principle, and determine the functional requirements of the brake controller. In accordance with the requirements of braking controller, design schematic circuit and PCB, making circuit boards and welding the components, and build the hardware drive functional testing environment to debug the circuit board, and then the development of brake controller hardware circuit board is finished.Secondly, establish the vehicle longitudinal dynamics model of braking process. The braking shaft load transfer and wheel slip rate is considered in the process of modeling. In the light of highly nonlinear characteristics of dynamic model, a sliding mode controller is designed for the purpose of brake deceleration tracking and satisfying the ideal braking force distribution curve. Use high precision vehicle dynamics simulation software ve DYNA to make simulation and simulation results show that the sliding mode controller can achieve braking deceleration tracking.Finally, the hardware in the loop experiment platform is set up, including the hardware system and the software of the braking controller. The hydraulic control algorithm is tested. The results show that the control algorithm can achieve the accurate control of the brake hydraulic pressure. The hardware in the loop simulation is carried out for the braking deceleration tracking control algorithm, and the results show that this algorithm can achieve braking deceleration tracking.
