With new materials, new processing technology, lubricating materials andsurface modification technology development, air friction pair material s such asthe M50, M50 Ni L and Si3N4 have long life and high reliability features, theexisting rolling contact fatigue testing machine can not to meet test requirements,and the material of the rolling contact fatigue data is foreign adoption byequivalent, this paper has designed a high-speed rolling contact fatigue testingmachine, on the one hand, it can meet the requirements of rolling contact fatiguetest under the metal materials existing national standards, on the other hand; italso extend the test condition, is used in the aviation bearing material, the specialcraft, the compound coating, the surface strengthening, the lubricating materialand so on new technology the screening test.First, this paper analyzes the formation mechanism of the rolling contact fatigue failure, analyzes the factors influencing the fatigue failure of the material, and discusses the method of the rolling contact fatigue life evaluation. Summarizes the routine detection of vibration signal and collect sample vibration signal characteristic parameters and master the different parameters of the meaning, choose appropriate vibration characteristic parameters, as sample material roll initial contact fatigue of alarm monitoring parameters. The tester for system design, determine the tester ball-on-disc contact friction pair in the form of the design of rolling contact fatigue test machine, in accordance with the sample disk priority failure of directional failure and accelerated fatigue principle, analysis and determine the performance indicators of the tester.Then, to guide the design and development of the tester performance index, the ball-on-disc type rolling contact fatigue tester, design the ball-on-disc type rolling contact fatigue tester, testing machine mainly includes ball-disc check contact test-piece, loading mechanism, shafting bearing, a power device, lubricating system and measurement system of six parts. At the same time, using the 3D modeling software of Soildworks established a three-dimensional model of the testing machine, static and dynamic characteristics of the testing machine spindle is analyzed by using ANSYS Workbench, and draws a conclusion that the under maximum load should stress, strain and deformation contours, and spindle front six order natural vibration type and the inherent frequenc y, to ensure safety in operation of testing machine.Finally, hardware of the testing machine were machine installation and arrangement and the components of the system debugging and calibration, complete testing machine building; on a ball- disc high-speed rolling contact fatigue testing machine to test, Taking GCr15 as the sample material under the condition of preset working conditions,verification of testing machines performance can meet the using requirements.
