Currently, photovoltaic power generation, a renewable energy, has gained more and more attention, which has been greatly improved in types and functions. Screw pile, as the foundation of photovoltaic devices, has the following advantages: adaptive to a variety of terrain, quick and easy construction, etc. and has been greatly promoted in recent years. But in seasonal frozen soil area, the research work on screw pile is relatively scare.Photovoltaic screw pile seasonal frozen soil area should meet the needs of photovoltaic engineering and safety requirements and saving costs. Based on Tongliao area photovoltaic project, the displacement and the states under the vertical and horizontal force been loaded have been studied in seasonal frozen soil area during freezing and thawing time by ABAQUS. So does the design parameters of screw pile. The research work can help to better understand the working mechanism and characteristics of the screw pile and provide theoretical guidance for practical engineering design applications.This paper mainly focuses on the research work in three aspects and obtains the following outcomes:1) The temperature field in seasonal frozen soil area during freezing time from November to February and thawing time from March to June were calculated and analyzed. The model is validated by field test results of crew pile. The displacement and mechanical properties under different temperature field of screw pile are studied. Through the computation on displacement between screw pile and pile, the displacement has been reduced by 30%,compared with tube pile.2) The calculation has been carried on in stress state, as well as the distribution of displacement variation, different factors bearing capacity and its limit value during freezing time and thawing time under vertical load alone and vertical and horizontal load.3) The research has been done and the uplift influence performance of screw pile has been obtained for the following factors: length, leaf width, spacing, etc. The respective reasonable factors’ values of PV screw pile are suggested.
