In the future due to the advantages of stainless steel, concrete filled stainless steel tube will be more and more used in engineering. Because of some problems on the project, it had to reinforce the concrete filled stainless steel tube, and CFRP is good reinforcement material. CFRP reinforced concrete filled steel tube has a large number of related research. In the future when concrete filled stainless steel tube is widely used, it is necessary to study the mechanical properties of CFRP reinforced concrete filled steel tube. And this paper mainly studies the flexural performance of CFRP reinforced concrete filled steel tube flexural members.This paper mainly divided into two kinds of experimental scheme: a circular tube, another for the square tube. This paper, by means of experiment and finite element simulation, comprehensively analyzed the the feasibility of CFRP reinforced concrete filled steel tube flexural members. In this paper, the failure modes of the component is obtained by using the method of experimental method: the circular tube will occur the tensile failure of CFRP at the mid-span of the menmber and the circular cracking failure of CFRP; while the square tube will occur the tensile failure of CFRP at the mid-span of the menmber, and the failure mode that stainless steel tube occur the lateral buckling and the corner rupture destruction. This paper analyzes the influence of the CFRP reinforcement efficiency coefficient β to the bending capacity of flexural member. The results show that the bigger the β, the CFRP reinforcement effect the better and the bending capacity of the component after reinforcement the better. About the CFRP reinforced concrete filled stainless steel square tube flexural member, this article suggested that CFRP reinforcement only apply to flexural member with small height-thickness ratio. In this paper, the component of the finite element simulation are compared and analyzed. From the calculation results,computing component across bending deflection curve(Bending moment- deflection curve in the cross), the comparison of the failure mode between the computing component and the experimental results, it shows that the finite element simulationhas the good agreement with experimental result. And this paper study distribution rule of stress and strain with respect to CFRP, stainless steel and concrete. Research of interaction between stainless steel tube and concrete shows that the tube has good constraint effect to concrete. By using the method of parameter analysis, finally, the paper deduced the calculation formula of ultimate flexural bearing capacity and bending stiffness formula at using phase of CFRP reinforced concrete filled steel tube flexural members.In this paper, the conclusion has certain guiding significance to practical engineering, and for CFRP reinforced concrete filled steel tube research provides certain help.
