As the background of seeking an anti-counterfeiting technology which was difficult to copy, easy to identify, bottom cost and pollutionfree, this paper began with the perspective of printing forgery prevention. For the problems of low efficiency of classifying huge amount of watermarks, we proposed an algorithm of hologram watermarking using quaternion in DFT-DWT domain and a classifying watermarks algorithm based on mathematical morphology.Firstly, in order to promote the quality of extracted watermarks, we analyzed the princ iple of imaging formation of printed and digital image respectively and considered the connection between the different channels, so combined the conception of quaternion with the digital watermarking algorithm which had be proposed by research group, we proposed a an algorithm of hologram watermarking using quaternion in DFT-DWT domain. The result of simulation experiment shown that the algorithm we proposed was equipped the property of invis ibility and also been robustness from the attacks that might encounter in the progress of print-and-scan, such as salt and pepper noise attack, cutting attack, rotation attack, scaling attack and compound attack. Moreover, the results of practical experiment of print-and-scan shown that the algorithm proposed in this paper had robustness to printing and scanning attack that corresponded with the simulation results and the clear extracted watermarks could be obtain.After determine the watermarking algorithm, using the watermark controllability in the algorithm, combined the nature certainty of the size and shape structure element, we proposed a classifying watermarks algorithm based on mathematical morphology which realize a blind extraction of the watermark, the classification of the blind and the blind detection process by encoding watermarks. And the simulation and printing experiment was finished to verify the feas ibility and running rate, and the result shown that the classifying algorithm we proposed running rate than traditional algorithms have improved greatly.Finally, selected books as anti-counterfeiting printing instance, applied the algorithm of hologram watermarking using quaternion in DFT-DWT domain, and after the progress of print-and-scan extracted and recovered the watermarks. And applied the algorithm based on mathematical morphology to classifying watermarks, so watermarking algorithm was proved and the universality of the classification algorithm, and promoted the applying of digital watermarking technology into the anti-counterfeiting printing production to provide the support and help.
