A Study Of Kunming "Justice" (1943-1945)

The Zhengyi Newspaper was founded on October 10 th, 1943, in Yunnan province. The people who founded Zhengyi Newspaper were celebrities of Yunnan at that time. On July 31 th, 1953, The Zhengyi Newspaper closed. When the newspaper founded, it published its purpose which was serviced for industrial and commercial group, thus it was a private business newspaper. However, during the Anti-Japanese War, it also promoted the Anti-Japanese thought, which made contribution to the war.From 1943 to 1945, the Zhengyi Newspaper went through three stages: first stage was the Anti-Japanese War; second stage was the Liberation War; and the third stage was the Establishment of the People’s Republic. During this time, the Zhengyi Newspaper had development and became full-fledged at the same time. As a private business newspaper, the Zhengyi Newspaper not only made a big contribution to our country, especially in lately of the Anti-Japanese War, but also had a great influence on local people after they red its news reports and Literary columns.This paper systematically researches the development and evolution of the Zhengyi Newspaper from 1943 to 1945. From the foundation of the newspaper, this paper describes its contents and features with details, then focus on the analyze of its news reports which includes the domestic and international news, as well as the literary supplement and its editing idea.
