Infrared detection technology has been developed for nearly half a century of history. It has been widely used in military and civilian fields. The appearance of uncooled infrared detection technology is a leap in the field of infrared detection technology. Nowadays, the uncooled infrared focal plane imaging technology has been widely used in various fields, and has wide development and application prospect. Therefore, the development of independent intellectual property rights of uncooled infrared focal plane detector and its related application technology has become an important research topic. However thermoelectric cooler (TEC), an important part of the uncooled infrared detector, occupy about 80% of the detector’s power consumption. Therefore, the study of the TEC-less uncooled infrared detector and the removal of TEC and its correction method is an important development direction in the field of infrared detection.In this thesis, we analyze the theory of infrared detection and give the theoretical analysis and formula of the non uniformity after removal of TEC firstly. And a non-uniformity correction method based on environmental temperature variable is presented in this paper. And design based on 25μm x 25 μm pixel 400 x 300 array the on-chip non uniformity correction function without TEC uncooled infrared focal plane read-out circuit structure is designed and simulation analysis of the design of each part.The main research contents of this thesis are as follows:1.The basic working principle of infrared detector is introduced. The relationship of the absorption of infrared radiation by infrared focal plane detector pixel and the relevant mathematical formula are analyzed. The thermal equilibrium relationship of thermal electric conversion in the process of infrared detection is given.2. The cause of the non uniformity of infrared detector system is analyzed, and the relevant calculation formula is given. The effect of non uniformity of removal TEC is analyzed, and the method of nonuniformity correction is given.3. Base on the GlobalFoundry 0.35 μm process and cadence platform TEC-less refrigeration infrared focal plane array readout circuit of each module in the design, simulation and analysis.
