Research On The Construction Of Socialized Service Alliance In University Library

Due to the social demand for books and information continues to grow, the public’s demand for library and information has been continuously growing, the public library has been in difficulty due to its own limits, causing failure of a lot of people accessing to their needed resources conveniently and in a timely manner, reducing people’s sense of identity of the utilities, reducing their trust in implementation of policy of governmental departments. As a member of the society, university libraries need to bear their own responsibilities, going out of school and stepping into communities, and make the campus lectures open to the public, so as to provide information services to the public while offering social assistance.This paper based on the connotation of University Library’s social service Union, demonstrates the construction of University Library’s social service Union necessity and feasibility, as well as the construction of related infrastructure, analysis of construction model of University Library’s social service Union and the existing obstacles to the two aspects of theory and practice, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures.
