| In recent years, the importance of software testing is becoming increasingly prominent, compared with the traditional manual testing featuring redundant work,low efficiency and repetition rate. The software testing sector is taking the trend of development with improved efficiency and shortened development cycle by utilizing automated software testing. The Web-centered mode is more widely adopted in Web application and the Web-based system is becoming more colossal. All these serve to raise the requirement of Web design and bring challenge to Web-based testing. While the traditional technology and method of software testing do not properly apply to the current Web testing, new technology and methods for the new rising sectors are to be developed. Automated testing framework can ultimately simplify automated testing,thus bringing great convenience.This thesis studies the theoretical basis and key technology in regard to the realization of software testing, including the categorization of software testing, as well as theoretical study of testing process and testing documents. It also shades light on the elements of automated testing framework and focuses on related theory on its realization and main application technology, including the life cycle of automated software testing and the way to construct highly effective automated testing. The object of this study is the design and application of Web-based automated software testing. Selenium is adopted to develop Web-based automated testing framework.Besides, Elong, a large website in this case, is taken as an example for requirement analysis of business function. What’s more, a detailed design of automated testing framework is put forward and its related functions are achieved, which prove the practicability and feasibility of Selenium-based testing framework, making certain fruit in the application of Web-based automated testing and providing new technological references for the automated testing framework of large websites. |
