And through an example analyzed the relationships between the total logistics costs and the carbon emission, studied the effects of carbon taxes and carbon emission levels to the total logistics costs. The results show that, as long as the government develop a reasonable carbon tax, by optimizing the layout, logistics companies can not only greatly reduce carbon emissions, but also can maintain the total logistics costs.
