Small and medium-sized commercial banks of china was born after the reform and oening up, many are from the original city credit cooperatives and rural credit cooperatives reform. Its business delopment has made great progress boom of the local economy, small and medium-sized commercial banks have become an important part of China’s financial system. But with the deepening of financial reform, the banking industry competition more and more intense, traditional business has been a huge impact, the survival pressure is more and more small and medium-sized commercial banks. This paper takes Huainan rural commercial bank for example trade (hereinafter referred to as the Imperial Bank of Huainan), through in-depth study of market positioning of the Commercial Bank of Huainan and development strategy for small and medium-sized commercial banks, market positioning and development strategies to provide reference.Analysis on the present situation of Huainan City, the local economy through this paper, Huainan city on the credit market to do is divided into six levels, and each a credit market to do market research and analysis of a large number of features, and combined with the city of Huainan financial industry development and Huainan commercial bank itself, the main target market of Commercial Bank of Huainan to determine the. Then through the analysis of historical development and management status of the Commercial Bank of Huainan, the advantages and disadvantages of Huainan commercial banks. Then using SWOT analysis method, obtains the market positioning strategy of the Commercial Bank of Huainan.Finally, based on the analysis of the results got from the above, combined with the actual commercial bank, to make the planning of development strategy of commercial bank, and through the six aspects of development strategy:marketing strategy, product and service strategy, talent development strategy, capital optimization strategy, scale expansion strategy and to perfect the management system of strategy in detail paper.
