Abstract:Nowadays more and more Chinese enterprises begin to engage in overseas investment in the United States.These investments encourage the development of the Sino-U.S. biliteral economic relationship in one way; In another way, investments from China face many political obstacles in the United States.The essay tries to analyse the political environment and political risks of investing in U.S. faced by Chinese enterprises,especially telecommunication related enterprises repesented by Huawei.After looking back the overall situation,economic benefits,political damages of Chinese investment in U.S.in last ten yeas,the essay then analyse the political risk of Chinese investments in U.S. from a macro percpective, disscuss related U.S. laws and regulations about foreign investment, analyse president’s attitude, congress’s attitude,conservative constitution’s attitude and public’s attitude toward Chinese investment in U.S..Based on former champters,the essay then analyse the political risk about huawei’s investment in U.S. in detail and give advices for both Chinese erprises and government about how to make Chinese investment go more smoothly in the United States.
