| Nowadays, China has been established15Free Trade Zones located in coastal area entirely. As the most opening and freedom economic areas, Free Trade Zone have contributed tremendous social and economic achievements in limited land. In recent years, it has witnessed that the development and the opening of Chinses Midwest Area has been deepening, local governments have drafted many kinds of preferential policies to attracting foreign investment, the manufacturing industry chain around the Yangtze River Delta has been accumulated to inner area, the labour intensive and low added value manufacturing enterprises have migrated one by one, the policy advantages of Free Trade Zone have been weakening compared with the other areas in China, all of these had stagnated the development of the manufacturing enterprises in Free Trade Zone. Nevertheless, the manufacturing industry is one of three dominant functional industries as well as the major channel to attracting the foreign investment. The manufacturing industry has made great contribution to local government finance, labor recruit and high-tech importation. Once the migration trend is formed, it will hollow the manufacturing industry in Free Trade Zone and harm the development of the Free Trade Zone.Free Trade Zone is the outcome of the market globalization, the world economy unify and development of free trade theory, and later become the promoter and activater. Relative theories include absolute advantage commerce, comparative advantage commerce and natural resource endowment. With on-the-spot investigation in the manufacturing industry in Free Trade Zone, this article analyses the status of the manufacturing enterprises and dissects the restraint factors. Combined with relative economic theories and macro economy, this article is looking for the approaches to adjust the industry structure and attract more high added value manufacturing enterprises to Free Trade Zone as well as the sustainable development of the manufacturing industry. |
