From the beginning of this paper to introduce the background of JD company, it stand the top line of Card making business starting from being established in China, but from some of operation key KPIs we can find that some supply chain management issue is existing such as: the inventory of finish good, semi product, raw material are huge, and meantime aging & scrapped volume is huge also; on-time delivery is lower; capacity utilization is lower and dynamic. Sometime capacity wasted but overloaded at other period etc. All these reflect that the starting point from supply chain – the accuracy of sales forecast should have some problem. But we are confused that all the same KPIs in JD international subsidiary – Australia subsidiary are all better enough to support their operation.Then to analyses the utilization status in both China & Australia subsidiary, the major thread is their sales forecast system and forecast model from Headquarter. From questionnaire of sales & marketing forecast distributed to Sales & Customer service team, meantime combination from the comparison between monthly sales forecast vs actual order received, we can see there has difference result in China & Australia subsidiaries. Again, comparing the forecast accuracy trend in both subsidiaries we can find that, with the same sales forecast system management, international subsidiary’s accuracy is higher than China subsidiary’s especially their trends are clearly improved year by year. Then to analyses and find the key reasons which lead to such differences. At the end of paper, to summary above analyses and findings to get this investigation conclusion and rise up some comments of improvement. At last summary the investigation result and expectation and suggestion for the future study.
